Sentinel Photonics’ LASERD® AIR detectors can dramatically mitigate the impact of laser attacks on aviation operations. LASERD® AIR provides instantaneous feedback to aircrew regarding the hazard level of laser attacks, giving assurance regarding critical mission decision processes. This data can be transferred to police to capture, prosecutor and deter attackers. The data is also highly valuable to enable the development of fit for purpose laser eye protection for aircrew, overtime nullifying the threat.

Sentinels products protect people in sports stadiums and events from laser attacks. Lasers can not only affect a players eyesight, but also the outcome of the sporting events and ruining fair contests. We’ve developed laser detectors that can autonomously detect laser attacks and pinpoint laser sources. By placing our LASERD® detectors into stadiums, perpetrators can be recorded and prosecuted accordingly. More importantly, overtly having laser detectors in facilities could act as a powerful deterrent, preventing attacks happening in the first place.
