SENTINEL PARTNERS WITH NS ARMORY TO BRING NEW CAPABILITIES TO THE US LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SECURITY MARKET

Sentinel Photonics has partnered with NS Armory to supply FROST and ECHO across the United States. The agreement puts two of Sentinel’s laser detection and protection systems in the hands of US local law enforcement and security operators. It runs through a specialist dealer already trusted by police departments, tactical teams and professional security customers across the United States.

THE THREAT IS HERE ALREADY

Lasers are no longer a future problem for US police departments and security providers. They range, dazzle and detect. For a tactical team marksman covering a scene or an officer holding a perimeter, an optic that reflects light back to its source gives away a position before a shot is fired. Handheld lasers are now cheap, widely available and routinely turned on police lines and security teams, so the tools to detect and defeat them are no longer optional for agencies and security teams. Sentinel builds for that reality. Its Detect and Protect line runs on LasINT, the laser intelligence developed from UK Ministry of Defence science and now adapted for policing and security work. FROST and ECHO sit at each end of the problem. One keeps the officer hidden. The other finds who is watching.

FROST

FROST, the Filter for Retroreflection and Optic Signature Treatment, mounts to the front of a rifle optic. It neutralises the cat’s eye reflection that gives away a position to anyone scanning with a laser or a detector. The housing fits a wide range of optic sizes and threads and holds the sight picture clean, which matters for SWAT and tactical unit marksmen working from static positions. FROST is proven in service on the KS-1 rifle with UK Armed Forces, and the same protection now transfers to US law enforcement and security teams.

ECHO

ECHO detects concealed optics at long range and across a wide field of view. It identifies rifle scopes, binoculars, hidden cameras and other surveillance equipment by their retroreflection, supporting counter-surveillance sweeps, dignitary protection details, event security and critical infrastructure patrols. An onboard display and video capture record what it finds, giving agencies an evidential record. ECHO scans with a Class 1 eye-safe laser, so it can be used around the public. Competing systems operate at Class 3B or higher.

A DIRECT ROUTE TO THE US LAW ENFORCEMENT & SECURITY MARKET

NS Armory supplies high-end small arms, optics and night vision to local and state law enforcement agencies, private security providers and professional customers across the United States.
